Canceling an Order
Under the EC Distance Selling Directive, you have the right to cancel the contract for your purchase within 7 working days commencing the day after the date that the items were delivered. You do not need to give us any reason for canceling your contract, nor will you have to pay any penalty. You cannot cancel your contract if the goods you have ordered are audio or video recording or computer software, and you have taken these items out of the sealed packages in which they were delivered to you.
To cancel a contract, write "Cancel Contract" on the back of the invoice. Package the items securely and send them to us with the invoice within 7 working days commencing the day after the date that the items were delivered. We request that you email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to tell us that you are returning goods before you send them. 24 hours' advance warning is required for returns.
The return address is:
Newington Enterprise Centre
Newington Kent ME9 7BP
We recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error.
When we receive the goods with the notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item.
Once you have notified us that you are canceling your contract, any sum debited to us from your credit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order, provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you.
Cancellation by MIC
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:-
a) we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered,
b) we do not deliver to your area, or
c) one or more of the goods you have ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and we will re-credit your account with any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Your order will normally be dispatched the same day if we receive it before 3pm UK time Monday to Friday with the exception of English public holidays. If you choose the "Economy" or "Buyers Club" service, we withhold the right to delay shipment for one or more days and then dispatch using a next working day service, thus achieving delivery within the quoted timeframe. This only happens in exceptionally busy times and is not the normal procedure. We will try to dispatch orders received after 3pm on the same day, but if that is not possible, they will be dispatched the next working day.
Customers in the Highlands of Scotland may find that their deliveries take one extra working day to arrive. Note that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. Read more here.
